Jumping on the Blogging Bandwagon

I've wanted to start a blog for quite some time, but, like most things in my life, I find it quite difficult to start things that are unknown. I am not the kind of stay-at-home mom who always emails pictures of the kids to the grandparents, has a business on the side, or serves a grand meal for dinner on a regular basis. Starting a blog is way outside my little box, but I suppose that is why I'm doing it. Over the years, there has been a continual theme in my life, words that run through my head whenever I believe the Lord is teaching me something new - Renewing My Mind. I love the idea of having a blog to finally be able to share our life with grandparents (and whoever else may be interested), but it has also occurred to me lately that I've been playing the "baby Christian" card way too long, and perhaps the Lord would like me to start sharing more about how good and faithful He is with others. He has "renewed my mind" on so many subjects over the years and He has been so good to us in ways that I soon forget. My ultimate purpose for this blog is to chronicle and remember the great things He has done for us and shown us, and share these things with others so they can see how awesome God is on a personal basis.

Nonetheless, I do plan on blogging about anything and everything (hopefully!). Please know up front that I do not consider myself to be someone who has arrived yet (a "mature" Christian). I could easily make a much, much longer list of my weaknesses compared to my strengths. But, I do believe the Lord wants us to share with others, so I will humbly give it a try.
